Davis went through qualifying to reach her first Roland Garros main draw. She celebrated the occasion by taking out a seed in the first round. The Cleveland native comes from a medical family. Mom's a nurse. Dad's a doctor.
I love tennis but I keep missing the French Open coverage because it's on too early in the morning for me. I always check the scores though.
ReplyDeleteFor me, too, the French is my weekends only Slam. Thank goodness for the Internet! I can't complain too much, though. Having the summer off allows me to watch plenty of Wimbledon.
ReplyDeleteI have always been a fan of the Olympics and have itched for a forum of sorts to throw out the odd comment on the ice skaters and the divers in particular.

Count on it. I don't know if I'll be up for a daily post this time around but I look forward to sharing my thoughts. I have a much stronger emotional attachment to the Winter Games than the Summer Games but I'm sure to watch plenty anyway.
