The greatest films stand the test of time, speaking to us in different
ways at various life stages. Is there a movie that was a part of your
life when you were younger that you see differently now? Like fine
wine, has it improved with age or did it die in the bottle? Has
maturity brought you new insights you missed in your youth? We want to
know all about it!
Join us for "Then and Now," a bloghop hosted by The Armchair Squid,
Suze,
Nicki Elson and
Nancy Mock. Tell us about a movie
you loved when you were younger and have come to see differently over
time - for better or for worse. Please sign on to the list below, then
post on Friday, June 13th.
Looking forward to this! I'm excited about people's answers.
ReplyDeleteI always knew I'd someday spell 'Subliminal' wrong. It's just begging for it. Can you correct my link name? :)
DeleteI shall fix it.
DeleteHad to come over and check to see who 'the 12' were and we're now at 13. Yay!!
DeleteThings are shaping up nicely, indeed.
DeleteI'll have to think about it...:/
ReplyDeleteHope you'll join us, Andrew!
DeleteI would like to do this but it is in The Square Dogs contract that they always have the Friday post. The last time I had to go through arbitration they took me to the cleaners. It was brutal.
ReplyDeleteI am looking forward to this and will have son help me fill out the above link.
cheers, parsnip
Perhaps there's room to compromise? I'm sure we'd all appreciate the canine perspective on your movie, too.
DeleteSounds exciting! Looking forward to reading everyone's post!
ReplyDeleteMe, too!
DeleteCan't wait!
ReplyDeleteSounds great. All signed up!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you're joining us, Lynda!
DeleteSign me up!
ReplyDeleteDelighted to have you, Maurice!
DeleteOkay, I'm on board with this. I love film so this is attractive to me. I just hope I can come up with something decent. For now my memory is not dredging anything up in regard to this. Too much mud and silt I guess so I'll really have to dredge.

Tossing It Out
Excellent! Delighted you're joining us, sir.
DeleteCan't decide which one I'm going to pick! There's so many, plus a part of me is afraid of being disappointed!
ReplyDeleteDo you mean disappointing in watching it again and finding out you don't like it as much? I can appreciate that, and could probably find loads of examples to share. My own choice is one for which I have gained greater understanding over time - a puzzle which maturity has allowed me to unravel.
DeleteJust popping in from Arlee's blog. Count me in!
ReplyDeleteI've already got the perfect film in mind and I really can't wait to watch it again after all these years!
Also, I would follow your blog, but Google is playing up: "We were unable to handle your request. Please try again or return a bit later.". Yeah, thanks Google.
Lousy Google...
DeleteSo glad you're joining us! I look forward to your post on Friday.
Heard about this via Lee, although I'm sure I saw something at Nicki's blog, too. Anyway, this should be fun, it may show revealing facts about ourselves . . .
ReplyDeleteGlad you're joining us. Thanks for following, too.
