Follow Up: Tennis World Cup and Vernon Goes Curling

In a post about Davis Cup a while back, I suggested the possibility of a Tennis World Cup. Well, wouldn't you know it, leading players have proposed just such an arrangement to the International Tennis Federation (ITF). Here's the article: http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2010/tennis/01/13/itf.davis.ap/index.html.

Also, I've been dying to post this one. Vernon Davis, my fantasy football team MVP, is going to be an honorary captain for the USA curling team at the Olympics in Vancouver. I never would have imagined that this guy would turn out to be so interesting. 1. I must say that I have found myself, more than once, watching full curling games (matches? events? murders?) on the Canadian stations. It looks fun.
