I was 24, on a beach in the Philippines. A man played a guitar. We all sang the song. I was the only one who knew the words to the bridge so I got a little solo. Now you can learn them, too!

Day 9: A Song That You Can Dance to
I like this one and will use it in my classes when I get the chance.
ReplyDeleteI remember one of my elementary school music teachers using this....we might have even performed it in one of our concerts....
ReplyDeleteVideo broken, but I know all of John Denver's songs. This is another case of the guitar/folk book that I stole from my mother way back when; all of his lyrics were in there as well. When all the kids were outside playing, I was reading, or memorizing lyrics and learning chords on my guitar, LOL. My alltime favorite John Denver song is Sunshine On My Shoulders, but this song runs a close second. :)
ReplyDeleteI also really like "Annie's Song" and (schmaltziest of all) "Perhaps Love."
