We keep vodka around, but I mostly use it for things like pulling the flavor out of saffron.
My wife uses it in cooking. She has a family favorite ham pasta dish requiring it.
I like Gin the best but used to ask for Polish Vodka.Thinking Miss Pretty has learned to model like all the big girls.Have you been watching The Open ? It is too hot to play even we down here in the desert know better than this.cheers, parsnip and badger
I have been watching off and on. Last night's Nadal match was amazing. I was really pulling for Thiem but what can you do? In a test of wills, Rafa will win every time.
Have to say I was pulling for Thiem also.
Hard not to. I love Rafa and Raja but I am nonetheless eager for young blood. Seems we'll need to wait until next year...Thiem will be back. I have a lot more faith in his eventual breakthrough than I do Zverev's. There is so much game there. He needs to steel his nerve. That match was his to win. He choked. There's no other way to paint it. And he knows it. Hopefully, it will be just the right motivation to push him to the next level.
Looks so delicious.
It was most pleasant.
Who can say No to vodka? or Gin for that matter:)
I haven't really landed on a preference between them. I'll still take whiskey, given the choice.
I could have used this recipe last week when it was almost 100 degrees every day. Sounds cool for sure. :) ~Jess
It's been such a brutally hot summer - all over the world, really. But global warming's just a myth, right? I'm not sure summer's even my favorite season anymore.
